Greentree Village is a small town home community (124 homes) very conveniently located off Old Keene Mill Road.  The entrance is just west of Huntsman Boulevard on Fieldmaster. 

• It is sited between Old Keene Mill and Sydenstricker surrounded by trees. 
• The community itself has trees throughout and several treed common areas that resemble a village green.

• There are 628 parking spaces at the Rolling Valley Mall Commuter Lot (approximately five minutes from the homes).  All three of the options below operate from Rolling Valley Mall

• The ROLLING VALLEY SLUG LINE has service to all DC locations as well as Crystal City and the Pentagon

Middle Valley is a community of detached homes sited on 1/4 acre lots.  The homes were built by two highly respected builders, Ryland Homes and NV Homes,  However, the majority of Middle Valley homes were built by Ryland Homes.

Commuting

• The main entrance is on Gambrill Road just about one mile from the Gambrill Park and Ride Lot at the Fairfax County Parkway where you can board

Rhygate is a community of 100 gorgeous townhomes on Rolling Road about one block south of Old Keene Mill Road - it adjoins Springfield Golf and Country Club.

•  These Carr homes were built in the mid 1970's.
•  They are all brick
•  Several have a garage
•  The community is immaculate and very well groomed

To date, no homes have sold and settled in 2009.  No meaningful comparison can be made with 2008 results.  However, the two homes currently on the market are carryovers from 2008.

Charlestown is a highly desireable and sought after town home community in the heart of Springfield

• A very active homeowner's association can take credit for the excellent appearance of the community - the proof is in the pictures below.

Although there are 6 homes for sale currently, only 1 has sold and settled so far in 2009.  Therefore, it is too early to make a comparison between the years 2008 and 2009

Showing and selling homes in Orange Hunt Estates for the past 3 decades has been a very gratifying experence for my husband and myself. The homes have continued to be popular since they were first introduced in 1967.  It is due in no small part to their superior commuting and shopping location, outstanding schools and proximity to a multitude of recreational facilities.

Kings Park, with models named King, Queen, Duke, Prince, etc, is located just west of the Capital Beltway (I-495) off Braddock Road.  It is a popular community of 1,100 homes that were built in the 60s. There are five basic models - two colonials, one split foyer, one cape cod and one rambler.  They are Richmarr homes who was the one of the premier Springfield developer/builders during the period.  Of course, over time, many of the homes have been refurbished and had additions added.  This gives the community a uniqueness and character that can only be developed over a rather lengthy period of time.

• Metrobus Route 17 operates in Kings Park with service to the Pentagon Bus Terminal
• The VRE Rolling Road Station is within 10 minutes with service to Washington, DC

Hunter's Ridge is a community of large homes on 1+ acre lots located west of Hoadly Road along the Prince William County Parkway. Hunter's Ridge homes are on both sides of the Parkway and are approximately 11 years old.
