How do I know this? ------------ Because I can do it - that's why.
I clicked on the "dreaded" HTML link(be sure to put on the oxygen mask and read the warning) and entered the following:
The text you type must be between the greater than and less than symbols as shown above
While in the HTML editor you can back out the number 14 and change the number to any size font that works for you. I believe the number 12 is about the normal AR size
Of course you change the text anytime.
When you are finished just do Post Blog Entry as usual
Now you're ready to become an "expert"
Reopen the post and click on WYSIWYG
You can highlight the red text and change it to bold or italics or bold italics or underline just as you normally would
Yes, you can center or move it flush right it as well. Once it is saved in HTML mode and reopened in WYSIWYG you treat it as any text
There are 216 safe html color codes so you can make your text any color you wish. Go to HTML Color Codes Each of the colors has a 6-digit number.
Reopen the post in HTML mode, back out the color code for red and enter any of the 6-digit codes you prefer and "Post Blog Entry"
You can insert the HTML code above in the middle of a sentence and just color one or two words as long as you do it in HTML mode
Conclusion
Adding color to basic black is not new - Henry Ford realized it enhanced the appearance of black Model A cars.

Those of us here in Wayne and Pike County in Northeast PA have been enjoying a lot of mild weather – I’m thinking it’s Mother Nature’s way of making amends for the nasty rainy summer we had! Anyway, do not be fooled; this warm streak will eventually come to an end and you may see this:
When you’re traveling in and around NEPA, it’s a good idea to make sure your trunk has a few winter survival essentials. Please be aware that some areas in Pike County are notorious for lousy cell reception. Don’t be caught off guard!
In addition to the typical standard emergency kit items like jumper cables and portable gas can, your trunk emergency kit should contain the following winter specific items:
ice melt & lock de-icer
Warm blanket, gloves, scarf, ski mask or hat
Spare wool socks in case the ones you’re wearing get wet
Small shovel, snow brush, and ice scraper
Wind up flashlight (cold temps suck the life out of batteries)
long burning candles and matches
First aid supplies
6 – 8 roofing shingles
Say WHAT? Roofing shingles? Whatchu talkin’ ’bout, Karen?(Sorry, child of the 80’s here -for some reason I had a little image of Gary Coleman reading my blog.)
I’ve gotten stuck on the ice more than once. Last year on New Year’s Eve, I was showing a Lake Wallenpaupack lakefront in the middle of a snow storm – and the road was nice and slick. I also had an Open House in Masthope in the middle of another snowstorm.(obviously, I like to live dangerously.)
I even have this video, courtesy of one of my clients, showing how determined we were to fight the ice to get inside a home at Paupackan Lake Estates.
Another time, I got stuck in the driveway of my listing in The Hideout. It was there in the Hideout where I had my epiphany. Kitty litter did NOT help. MY shovel did NOT help in this instance, as there was nothing to shovel; it was just slick ice. I ran out of ice melt.
Then I spied some discarded roofing shingles by the garage, poor unused and unwanted things were headed for the dumpster…
I plopped those babies down in front of my tires and I was out like Flynn. I guess the saying is “In like Flynn” but that doesn’t fit.
Good luck this winter – be safe, and don’t take chances. I don’t think I’ll be doing any more open houses in snow storms, but I’m game for showing lakefronts in any weather!

While in Manassas last week a member of Rolling Thunder was passing out flyers regarding a toy drive the mortocycle vets conduct to collect toys for local military families. As you can see, this is the program's third year. My husband and I intend to participate and we urge as many people as possible to do the same.
There is a very large contingent of military families in the area who are struggling with deployments to two wars in addition to the high cost of living in Northern Virginia. It is our privilege to provide as much assistance as possible.

Commuters form a line at a designated Slug Line Stop in Lake Ridge - the VDOT Commuter at the Lake Ridge entrance. For example, a driver will pull up headed for the Pentagon, but needs one more passenger to qualify for HOV-3. The first person in line going to the Pentagon will join the others in the car and away they go. It's free commuting for the slugger and gives the driver availability to HOV lanes on I-95 - win win!!
